BENEFICIARY APPLICATION PROCESS

Welcome to the Beneficiary Application Page!

Thank you for considering an application with The Bless Foundation!

Currently, our beneficiary application status is

closed for 2019.

Please check back for the 2020 application.

HOW IT WORKS:

  1.  Potential beneficiaries submit a thorough grant proposal (click here to view the 2019 application for reference)

  2. The BLESS board of directors reviews all electronic applications

  3. The BLESS board meets, discusses, and poses questions back to the applicants

  4. A separate committee of advisors reviews applications and provides counsel to the BLESS board

  5. The BLESS board votes in one beneficiary per pillar to highlight their story at Light the World, our annual Christmas concert and story-telling event

  6. The partnership opportunity is extended to the beneficiary and includes:

    • Agreement to share their story at Light the World

    • Agreement to extend the invitation to attend/sponsor Light the World to their donor base, leveraging the opportunity to have an event in which they can be showcased to a vast donor base without having to take on the expense and allocation of staff time

    • Agreement to provide monthly to quarterly (or when relevant) updates on what Bless donor dollars have been able to provide

  7. The BLESS team visits the selected beneficiaries (when possible*)

*The expenses of these trips are not paid for with donations made to The Bless Foundation.
